Writing Halloween Poems!
The students were excited to try writing Halloween poems using a partner. This is a complicated process for a first grader, but they did awesome for their first try! Cole's partner was ill today so I was his partner. We are making a classroom book that I'll share once we are finished with the poems.
We are working towards earning the letters for the word Balloon. Once we earn the last letter, we will get to play with balloons in the gym!
In science we are learning about what makes sound. Next week in reading we will focus on digraph sh. In math we are learning multiple strategies for adding numbers.
