Martin Luther King, Jr.
The students have been learning many things about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. They have learned about the Civil War and what events happened as a result of the war. All of the students were appalled by how the black people were treated. They watched many short YouTube clips, which told more about this famous leader. During writing the children wrote about their dream for the world. They also worked with a friend to create a Venn diagram which compared and contrasted their life with the life of Martin Luther King.
