Camp Out 2026!
Camp Out was a huge success! The students LOVE reading with their favorite stuffed animal and wrapped up in a cozy blanket!
They just finished writing their stories about what they would do if they were the president for a day. We are currently working on what they would buy if they found a pot of gold. In math they are learning how to add ten and subtract 10 from any number. This week we are focusing on learning and applying all of the vowel y sounds in words. Some of the words they are reading include the following: mystery, hymn, dirty, empty, lyric, pyramid. These are NOT your average first grade words! They are progressing very well in class.
