Class of Five!
Because we are a class of five great students, we are learning more skills than other classes. We can finish our assignments earlier so I am presenting new skills throughout the day as they are ready for them! Here we are learning how two-digit numbers are made up of tens and ones blocks. They say the number, get out the appropriate number of blocks while lining them up with spaces between them, and finally counting them all.
In science we are learning all about sound waves, pitch, and volume. Here we discovered that the further the ruler went away from the desk, the lower the pitch.
In Social Studies we learned about authority figures at home, school, community, and how essential they are in order to keep everyone safe, healthy, and happy.
