The first graders enjoyed playing "Roll and Stamp" during their last week before Christmas break.  They rolled 2 dice and added up the total dots and then stamped their corresponding number.  They enjoyed playing this game with their partner.  They also made stained glass windows, poinsettias, and wrote Santa a letter.  One of their writing projects was to write a persuasive report on why they deserved Christmas gifts from their parents.

On their last day the students watched a short Winnie the Pooh movie, played Pictionary using Christmas words, and then played a doubles plus one Christmas game with a friend.  We all had so much fun with each other!
