    New Superintendent Mrs. Sadie Coffey

Sent on Behalf of John Mick and the Shickley Board of Education:

The Shickley Board of Education is pleased to announce that Mrs. Sadie Coffey will be our next superintendent of schools.  Mrs. Coffey comes to us from Heartland Community Schools where she has most recently served as their Elementary Principal and District Director of Special Education.

To everyone who contributed feedback on our community school surveys during the search process, we extend our gratitude.  Your feedback was valuable and thoughtfully taken into consideration when making this choice.  Mrs. Coffeys’ abilities, her attitude of servant leadership, and her principles of hard work and dedication will clearly serve her well in the role of leading Shickley Public Schools.

We are excited to have Sadie and her family joining us.  Her commitment to students and tireless passion to improve education clearly speaks for itself.  We are confident that Sadie will be able to step into this role and work with our entire school staff to continue improving Shickley Public Schools for the benefit of our children.

Mrs. Coffey will officially begin her duties on July 1st but you may see her around the school and community from time to time as she begins her transition.

    Thank You.

    John Mick

    President, Shickley Board of Education
